Radical Chic/1984

These posters were everywhere when we lived in West Germany in the mid-eighties. I managed to snag one as a souveinir but lost track of it.

These guys were the next generation Baader-Meinhof Gang as the originals all pretty much died in 1977.
This is a fascinating website: http://www.baader-meinhof.com/

Just as reference, Ulrike Meinhof was a TV Jounalist before becoming a terrorist. It's sort of like Connie Chung becoming the most wanted woman in America.

Also, these bumper stickers were popular in the late '70s. They translate as: "I do not belong to the Baader-Meinhof Gang" Longhairs put them on their cars to avoid being cascaded by a fusillade of Polizei bullets. The cops probably weren't amused.
