I was once on an airplane with Brock Peters and his family. Of course, I didn't know his name, but recognized him as "bust up a chiffarobe" guy from "To Kill A Mockingbird".
He was multi-talented. He sang background vocals on "The Banana Boat Song" (Day-O) by Harry Belafonte. (You may remember the song from Beetlejuice)
I remember that his wife was wearing traditional clothing, like a Dashiki. He died in 2005.
