I've seen several John Prine shows, primarily at the Alabama Theatre and most recently at the Saenger Theatre in Mobile. He is always great. We saw Levon Helm at the Ryman Auditorim in Nashville (The Old Opry House). That was truly special, as so many special guests joined him onstage. Everybody from Billy Bob Thornton to Sheryl Crow to Allison Krauss, Robert Plant, John Hiatt, Delbert McClinton, Steve Earle. That performance is supposed to be released on DVD or broadcast eventually.
