Steve Earle

Two examples of superior songwriting by the great Steve Earle.

This moving song was written in tribute to Townes Van Zandt after his death:

  1. Incredible choices, my friend!! I've been a huge fan of Steve's for years and years, as a recovering addict, I get so much inspiration from his story and his great heart. God bless you and keep writing, you are really great!

  2. thanks. Unfortunately this blog was re-platformed a few months ago and I had forgotten my password, so I'm locked out forever. Glad to see it lives on. As to your recovery you have my total respect and admiration. It take a level of courage to go that deep into oneselves soul to succeed. Dig deep and find Ray Wylie Hubbard's music and story. Start with his song "The Messenger". Live long and well. Jay

  7. I think what you said was very logical. However, what about
this? suppose you added a little content? I ain't saying your information isn't solid.
, but what if you added a post title to maybe grab folk's attention? I mean "Steve Earle" is a little vanilla. You could peek at Yahoo's home
page and note how they create post titles to grab viewers to open the links.

You might try adding a video or a pic or two to grab people interested
about what you've got to say. Just my opinion, it could bring your posts a little bit more interesting.
